Celebrant or Registrar?
Let's give you the freedom to do what you want!
A registrar can legally marry you HOWEVER by choosing a celebrant you have the freedom to do whatever you want in your ceremony on your wedding day.
At this point in time a celebrant can not legally marry you in England and Wales (hopefully soon this will change). This means for now couples must do the legal bit and wedding separately.

Let me explain...
Think of it like this, when you give birth you will go to the register office and register the birth and collect the birth certificate after the baby is born and then choose to do a naming ceremony or Christening another day.
So with weddings you can choose to do the legal bit on a separate day. I think of it as Marriage day and Wedding Day.
By doing this and choosing a celebrant it opens you up to so many more options and gives you the freedom to do whatever you want at your ceremony. That’s where I come in to help tailor your wedding ceremony be everything you want it to be. No restrictions.
